Kingman Veterans Day Parade

Theme for this year is  United States Army.

Please come out and support our veterans that gave of them selfs to support our way of life and freedom. This year is following the 50th commemoration of the Vietnam celebration being observed across the United States of America. We are hoping to have one of the greatest Veterans Day parades in the history of Kingman, Arizona. We are looking for any Vietnam Veterans out there to come on out and participate, by riding in the parade or helping put it on. And just so everyone knows this doesn’t mean we don’t honor other veterans of other wars or conflicts, that is not the case. We honor ALL veterans from all conflicts. The parade is being held on November 11th 2017, it will be starting at 10:00 am and the location will be on Beale Street starting at 6th St and ending at the Locomotive Park at 1st street.  Lingenfelter Center Parade   Every year on Veteran’s Day, Residents and Staff at the Lingenfelter Center and The Gardens Rehab & Care Center honor our Veteran Residents. In acknowledgement of their sacrifice for our county, our facilities host a Veteran’s Day parade. Our goal is to expand upon our entries in the Veteran’s Parade this upcoming year.  If you or anyone you know has a contact or a group that may be a good candidate to be a part of our parade, we would love to speak with them about our upcoming event. For more information about being a part of the parade or sharing a contact of someone that may be interested in being a part of the parade, please contact Jessica Rodriguez, Activities Director/Veteran’s Parade Coordinator at 928-718-4852 ext. 2241.Also, this parade is open to the public!  Our Veteran’s have sacrificed and served our country with great pride therefore we would love to have as many spectators as possible as our Veteran’s will be honored during the parade. Finally, the Veteran’s Day Parade will be held on Friday, November 10th at 2:00 pm. The parade will start at The Lingenfelter Center located at 1099 Sunrise Avenue and circle around neighboring streets ending up back at the Lingenfelter Center.
